When you’re trying to find entertainment for your family it can be too easy to get into a routine of going to the same places, and you may not even realise how many interesting things there are to visit right on your doorstep. Plan Your Play has been created to hopefully inspire parents (and kids!) to get outside and explore the facilities available to them in the local area, initially focused on Furness/South Lakeland.
Our aim is to help people plan their play! We want to:
- Showcase what playgrounds or entertainment facilities exist and where they are located
- Provide information about exactly what’s there and why you might want to go
- Review how well it caters for different age ranges of children
- Highlight any useful amenities close by for grown ups!
No one on the team is doing this as a full time job, it’s a labour of love driven by wanting to help other families, and of course the giving us the fantastic excuse to visit as many playgrounds as possible.
